From the Top Shelf #17: The Cruise Kick Off Party Hosted by Crook & Chase

Guests who were able to attend already know that the Top Shelf Country Cruise Kick Off Party hosted by Crook & Chase was a blast. We gave out prizes to attendees, listened to a special message from Bobby Bones and, of course, watched two of the industry’s most seasoned professionals fill guests in on the Top Shelf Country Cruise experience.

If you didn’t catch the Kick Off Party, don’t worry. You can watch it back by clicking the button below. And be sure that you do, because the information is not only invaluable, but also delivered entertainingly.

What’s in the 17th Edition of From the Top Shelf

In this edition of From the Top Shelf, we want to share:

  • Our experience working with Crook & Chase for the Kick Off Party
  • The Top Shelf Programming Highlights of the Week: Crook & Chase edition
  • FAQs of the Week: Cruise Kick Off Party Edition
  • Our Rope a Friend Reservation Program
  • Inventory Report: What staterooms remain?

There’s a lot to cover. Let’s get started!

Filming with Crook & Chase

I had the pleasure of being in attendance in Nashville for the filming of the Kick Off Party with Crook & Chase. The day started with an early flight from St. Louis. After landing in Nashville, it was off to the iHeart Radio offices for the filming.

Upon arriving at the offices, I was greeted by Rick Murray who has been our right arm in this entire cruise process. Always calm, always collected, when Rick is there, you know that everything will be just fine.

After a quick tour of the office including both Bobby Bones’ and Crook & Chase’s studios, I had the honor of meeting Lorianne and Charlie. They were as kind, funny, and smart in person as they are on television and the radio. They had a few questions about the cruise which they wanted to understand before the taping.

I viewed the taping from a control room. I am pretty sure that nothing in the room I was in would have controlled any part of the filming. It is likely that the room was fictional set where kids could come and play director. In any event, there was no way that I would be allowed to mess with this production.

Crook & Chase nailed it. Ellen Appleton, our advisor, served as moderator and she was awesome as well. You can see the video of the Kick Off Call from the link above, and once you do, you will understand why I and all the folks at Signature Cruise Experiences are so gratified about working with the “on air” talent at iHeart and with Crook & Chase.

They will be so amazing on the cruise….we cannot wait.

After the filming, we had lunch and soon it was time to head back to St. Louis. Some days you count the hours. On this day, I counted my blessings.

Top Shelf Programming Highlight of the Week: Crook & Chase Edition

This week, we thought it would be appropriate (and timely) to let you know what the stars of the Cruise Kick Off Party, Crook & Chase, will be up to on Top Shelf Country Cruise. Out of our entire lineup, they have perhaps the largest list of activities and events both together and individually.

Trust us: Top Shelf Country Cruise is offering plenty to do with Crook and Chase.

Crook & Chase Together

It should come as no surprise that the legendary broadcast duo are taking part in plenty of events on the cruise. If you’re interested in spending some time with Crook & Chase, you may do so during the following events:

  • Toast and Tell: During this event, you’ll join Lorianne and Charlie in the Main Dining Room for some drinks. You’ll have the opportunity to throw out the names of some of your favorite country stars and the pair will regale you with personal and behind-the-scenes stories about the artists.
  • Cooking Demonstration: If you like to cook, this one is great. Here, Crook & Chase will share recipes from some of Nashville’s biggest stars with you and they’ll even show you how to make them for yourself.

Top Shelf Whiskey Tasting: At Cellar Masters Bar, you’ll sit with Crook & Chase to enjoy some of the finest whiskey on the ship. Obviously, all of the bottles will come straight from the Top Shelf.

Charlie Chase

While Lorianne and Charlie will be hosting several events together, there are some things for which they’re flying solo. For example, Charlie will be hosting a Blackjack Tournament alongside Lunchbox from The Bobby Bones Show. Try your luck and enjoy the dynamic between Charlie’s measured, friendly presence and Lunchbox’s wackiness.

Lorianne Crook

If you’re a fan of Tequila, join Lorianne for a Top Shelf Tequila Tasting. There will be plenty of brands to try from fresh, vibrant tastes to rich and complex spirits. Come for the tequila, stay for Lorianne!

Top Shelf FAQs: Cruise Kick Off Party Edition

During the Cruise Kick Off Party, guests had the opportunity to submit questions in real time. And while we’re responding to those guests individually, many of the questions asked included great information for all to know, so we’ll address the most pertinent ones here.

Can guests bring and fill reusable water bottles onboard?

Yes! The Oceanview Café on deck 14 has various refilling stations for ice and water for water bottles. The only caveat is that Celebrity Cruises asks that you use a separate plastic cup (next to the refilling machines) and dump ice and water into your personal bottle (for sanitary reasons).

When will excursion information be available?

All excursions for Top Shelf Country Cruise must be booked through Celebrity Cruises through the Pre-Cruise Planner, which will be launched in the coming months. We will let you know when it’s open in our Get Ready Series of emails designed to prepare you for your cruise.

When will we be able to add Top Shelf Country Cruise to the Celebrity Cruise app?

Great question. You’ll be able to do that when Celebrity’s Pre-Cruise Planner opens. We’ll send you information via email as soon as the Pre-Cruise Planner is available.

Will the itinerary of onboard events be released prior to the cruise?

Yes! For some of our most recent cruises, we’ve actually developed programming apps available on iOS and Android that have the entire schedule for the week. Those apps are usually launched within 10 days prior to Embarkation Day, so you will get to plan your entire week ahead of time.

Again, keep an eye out for emails from our Get Ready Series for more information (especially as Embarkation Day draws closer).

Thank you so much to everyone who joined the Kick Off Party and submitted questions! If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to info@scecruises.com.

What’s in the 15th Edition of From the Top Shelf

  • Crook & Chase host our Live Kick Off Partry
  • Top Shelf Programming Highlight of the Week: Bimini Beach Party
  • FAQs of the Week: Artist-Related questions

Top Shelf Programming Highlight of the Week

With Top Shelf Country Cruise drawing closer each day, we want to start highlighting some of the amazing programming you can look forward to on board. Each new edition of From the Top Shelf will feature a “Programming Highlight of the Week” to shine a spotlight on some of the once-in-a-lifetime experiences you can look forward to on the cruise.

This week, we’re going to share a few details of one of the special events we’re putting together: our port day in Bimini!

Bimini: It’s Going to Be a Party!

The details of our beach party in Bimini are still coming together. The good news is that we plan to be able to tell you everything in next week’s edition of From the Top Shelf. The even better news is that this party is being put together by veterans of the cruise and entertainment industries, and it’s going to be legendary.

While we can’t tell you everything we know yet, there are some things we can reveal.

For one, this is an exclusive party. Top Shelf Country Cruise guests will be the only ones allowed in the Bimini Beach Club on March 4, 2026. We’re also offering transportation to and from the club, specialized food and drink menus, DJ parties, beach games and more.

Finally, what party would be complete without friends? It would be great if, say, one or two folks from our talent lineup showed up. But who? For how long? And what would they be doing?

Mum’s the word for now, but we highly encourage you to keep an eye out for next week’s edition of From the Top Shelf!

Top Shelf FAQs: Artist-Related Questions

One of the best things about a Signature Cruise Experiences cruise is the opportunity to meet, mix and mingle with performers. After all, we’re on a ship, and there’s always a possibility that you may run into artists throughout the week. It’s one of the most exciting parts of the guest experience.

However, there are some best practices and general rules of thumb to follow when it comes to interacting with artists. After all, it’s important to be courteous and respectful of their time and space.

Since most Top Shelf Country Cruise guests are sailing with us for the first time, we’ve had a few questions come up about interacting with our artists. We’ll address some dos and don’ts here.

Will the artists be on the ship for the entire cruise?

Most of our performers will be onboard for the entire cruise. However, there may be some cases where an entertainer may join mid-trip or depart the cruise early due to other commitments or scheduling logistics.

The Keith Urban concert is so special that it will be presented at the Nassau Port Amphitheater, which is immediately adjacent to our docking slip. This concert is private, performed only for cruise guests and features both pre- and post-concert activities.

Can I take photos and videos of the artists?

We do not allow guests to take photos or videos of artists while performing as this violates our contracts with the performers. We ask that you respect this policy, our artists, and your fellow guests.

If you see an artist who is not performing, you may ask the artist if you can take a photo. However, please keep in mind that these artists are often busy, and they do have the right to decline.

Which meet-and-greet opportunities are available?

If you haven’t already, you may enter for a chance to have brunch with Bobby Bones (if you’ve already reserved a stateroom on the cruise). All you have to do is donate $100 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

Just sign into your SCE Account, Find “Top Shelf Country Cruise” and click the “View/Modify” button below your reservation. Then, click “Add More Options,” and finally, “Add Raffle.”

Your Stateroom Awaits! Get On Board Before It’s Too Late!

At this point, Top Shelf Country Cruise is nearly 70% reserved. The bulk of remaining staterooms consist of various Concierge Class and Veranda staterooms. To learn more and to reserve your stateroom, go to topshelfcountrycruise.com.

When you reserve staterooms as a group, you earn Onboard Credits which apply to any purchase or service available on the ship. You may apply the credits for Beverage Packages, Specialty Dining, Excursions and more. As we like to say: Even the Lone Ranger did not ride alone.

From the Top Shelf
Edition #15

Lee Brice + Scotty McCreery = Two Spectacular Talents Visited St. Louis

Signature Cruise Experiences is based out of St. Louis, Missouri, and last week we were fortunate enough to have not just one, but two

Top Shelf Country Cruise performers in town.

Readers of From the Top Shelf Edition #14 learned all about our meeting with Lee Brice on Wednesday. He could not have been more gracious, friendly or engaging. Meeting with him was one of the best experiences we’ve had in the 25+ year history of our company.

We barely had any time to rest as, come Friday, Scotty McCreery rolled into town for a show at the Chesterfield Amphitheater. The timing was nothing more than coincidental, but we absolutely weren’t going to pass up the opportunity of more face time with our incredible lineup of performers.

We had a great time meeting Scotty as we did with Lee, and we’re going to tell you all about it in this 15th Edition of From the Top Shelf!

Backstage with Scotty McCreery:
The Signature Cruise Experiences Team Gets a Country Moment to Remember!

Last Friday night, Scotty McCreery headlined a great country music show at the Chesterfield Amphitheater in suburban St. Louis. As we have shared before Signature Cruise Experiences, the producer of Top Shelf Country Cruise, calls St. Louis home, so when we heard that Scotty was performing, we gathered one of our “scout” teams and sent them to the show.

Our team is no stranger to this gorgeous outdoor venue having produced a full day musical festival there in the past. Fortunately, our show was in September and, as luck would have it, the weather was perfect. Friday night, not so much.

St. Louis has been in the midst of one of the worst heat waves in many years. The temperature at show time was in the 90’s, but the real culprit here is the humidity. The photo may not show it, but the only dry person shown was Scotty himself. That he was willing to take photos outdoors in that heat was a testament to his mettle.

Though our time with Scotty was brief, we were able to share with him our gratitude for his participation on Top Shelf Country Cruise and he shared with us how much his band is ready to cruise, have fun and hang with the 3,000 guests who will be sailing.

Scotty’s show was fabulous, but, as country music fans, you do not need our word on that! Scotty was a star from the start and that will never end!

This week, we’re going to fill you in on one of our shows: a Top Shelf-exclusive concert from The Raging Idiots!

Join Bobby Bones and Producer Eddie for a fun-filled performance by The Raging Idiots! Their blend of comedy and music is expertly done, combining hilarious lyrics with melodies you can’t resist singing along to. Come for the idiocy, stay for the legitimately impressive musical chops.

We recently had the opportunity to speak with Bobby Bones about The Raging Idiots and we gained some great, exclusive insight into the band, its history, and what their performance on Top Shelf Country Cruise means to them. Keep an eye out for that in From the Top Shelf Edition #16

Top Shelf FAQs: Surfing the Web at Sea

Among new cruise guests, we’re most often asked about two things: beverage packages and internet packages. We covered beverage packages in depth in last week’s From the Top Shelf, so this week, we’ll fill you in on internet packages.

Available Internet Packages

There are two packages to choose from: Basic 1 Device and Premium Wi-Fi. But what’s the difference? And how much do they cost?

The Basic 1 Device package costs $20.99 per guest per day. It’s good for light browsing and staying connected, especially through iMessage for Apple devices or WhatsApp for Android devices (i.e., internet-based communication methods). Note that this package does not support streaming or video calls.

The Premium Wi-Fi package costs $29.99 per guest per day for one device. Powered by Starlink, it really is the most powerful internet at sea. It’s this package that powers our own onboard operations and communications. You’ll enjoy everything included in the Basic package, plus streaming and video chat capabilities, all at the fastest speeds at sea.

Which Package Should You Purchase?

So, which should you get? Well, if you’re looking to send a few (internet-powered) texts to keep in touch with folks back home or with your cabinmate onboard, the Basic 1 Device package should provide the base-level usage you need.

But if you plan on taking the time to stream some shows or you want to be able to video chat with people back on land, the Premium Wi-Fi is the only way to go.

Our advice? Think about your mobile usage for the week. Think about who you’ll need to communicate with, in which way, and how often. If you’re unsure, for an extra $9 per day, the Premium package is a safe bet.

As far as keeping up with what’s going on onboard the ship, bear in mind that we’ll be launching a Top Shelf Country Cruise scheduling app that will be whitelisted – that is, you’ll be able to use it whether or not you’ve purchased a Wi-Fi package.

How Do You Purchase an Internet Package?

To purchase a Wi-Fi package, you’ll do so through Celebrity’s Pre-Cruise Planner closer to embarkation day. Don’t worry – we’ll let you know when it’s time.

From the Top Shelf #14

Top Shelf Country Cruise is produced by Signature Cruise Experiences (SCE). Most of you have not heard much about us, as this program is our first country music cruise in many years. SCE has been producing charter theme cruises since 2001, during which time, we presented over 100 programs, with themes running from NASCAR, Star Trek and Soul Train to every form of jazz imaginable.

Almost every other significant charter theme cruise company today either grew out of our company or was involved with us in some capacity. Our programs have sailed in the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Mediterranean Sea and Baltic Sea. Yet, we office in St. Louis! Members of our staff live in Florida/Michigan/California.

Last night, Lee Brice was in St. Louis performing to a sold-out crowd of 2,500 at a venue that we have used for land-based shows that we produce from time to time. Many of us took the opportunity to hang with Lee, see the show, and talk to him about Top Shelf Country Cruise.

We had so much fun and we will share those moments with you in this 14th Edition of From The Top Shelf!

Signature Cruise Experiences Team Meets Lee Brice

Meeting one of your favorite performers, athletes or dignitaries can be disappointing. There is an adage that goes “Never Meet Your Heroes.” Nearly 50 years ago I met Mickey Mantle. Without disparaging his memory, it was a huge disappointment…and worse.

Last night was the exception that proved the rule. Many of the Signature Cruise Experiences team were able to meet Lee Brice backstage before his amazing concert in our hometown, St. Louis.

The “meet” was arranged by his Tour Manager Philip Elliot who sets the standard for being a topflight manager, as well as being a wonderful person. From that experience, we were confident that Lee Brice would be just as friendly and nice.

Well, Lee Brice exceeded all our expectations. Gracious, friendly, engaging, smart and funny. We knew he was an amazing performer, entertainer and star, but he could not have been nicer to be with.

We had asked him, in advance, to film a couple of bits (liners) for the cruise. We were set up at the appropriate time, ready to shoot and determined to take as little of his time as possible.

He nailed the liners on the first try. When we called it a “wrap,” he asked if we were sure about that and whether we needed more from him. We have filmed liners with dozens of performers during our 25+ years of producing cruises. His asking if we needed more is a rare occurrence. It speaks to his commitment to his fans, to his image and to the kind of man he is.

Though there is no reason for being so, Lee Brice’s humility dominates his demeanor. One of the liners we prepared included a very positive description of his shows. Upon reading the text, he stopped, smiled and said “that’s sounds a bit cocky.” He moderated the text to what he felt was appropriate.

Meeting Lee Brice was one of the best experiences we have had in our cruise producing history.

Lee Brice’s Take on Top Shelf Country Cruise

Suffice it to say, Lee Brice and his entire team are pumped to join his fans on Top Shelf Country Cruise. We captured his excitement on film which we will be sharing with you in the days to come.

The Lee Brice Show at The Factory (St. Louis)

When pulling up to the venue last night, the first thing we saw were two enormous tour vehicles. They were too big to be called buses and too luxurious to call trailers or vans. Beautifully wrapped with a photo of Lee Brice, the vehicles were impressive.

From the size of the vehicles, you would have thought that the show would include tricks and show items. And, for many shows, that is the case, but, for this show, Lee Brice chose to present himself and his music in an intimate and very personal way.

Weaving between songs and personal thoughts about his life and career, the show, titled “You, Me and My Guitar,” gave you insights into who he is that you would not learn from a full production show. One thing for sure, there was not a shortage of music.

The show was a tour de force performance, presented by a super talent, with a big heart, a big smile and all the charm in the world.

This week, we’re going to tell you about a can’t-miss event with two country broadcasting legends.

Toast & Tell with Crook & Chase

Over their decades of working on the air together, Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase have amassed a treasure trove of stories and anecdotes about some of country music’s biggest stars through countless interactions and interviews. And, at Toast & Tell, you’ll have your chance to learn about some of it firsthand.

Join Crook & Chase in the Main Dining Room, enjoy some beverages, and throw out the names of some of your favorite artists. The pair will fill you in on some of the coolest, funniest and most amazing things they know about each one. That’s some Top Shelf insight.

Top Shelf FAQs: Navigating the Beverage Packages

Internet and Beverage Packages are the most popular cruise offerings in terms of discussion and selection. Each is a two-part inquiry. First, do I need a package? Second, which package should I select?

In this edition of From the Top Shelf, we will tackle Beverage Packages. Whether you should purchase a package is a personal decision largely dependent on (a) your consumption profile and (b) your math skills.

The first step is to guess how many bottled drinks, beer and cocktails (Purchased Beverages) you may consume during the cruise. Top Shelf Country Cruise has three “Days at Sea”, two full-day Ports of Call, Opening Day and a Day in Key West. The number of Purchased Beverages will be greater during the Days at Sea than when we are in a Port of Call. Remember: Drinks purchased off the ship are not part of your beverage package.

Once you have that number in mind, we recommend that you multiply that amount by $14, roughly the average cost of a Purchased Beverage. Take that number and compare them to the prices of the various Beverage Packages.

  • Premium Beverage Package ($700/person/week): Full access to beer, wine, spirits, bottled water and specialty coffees (up to $17 per beverage)
  • Classic Beverage Package ($595/person/week): Wine by the glass, beer, cocktails and specialty coffees (up to $10 per beverage)
  • Beer Package
($385/person/week): Beers up to $12 per bottle or draft. Brands include Budweiser, Coors Light, Corona, Heineken, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Blue Moon, Sam Adams and more.
  • Non-Alcoholic Drink Package ($385/person/week): Includes specialty coffees, sodas, bottled water, fruit smoothies and more.

Keep in mind that the prices above do not include the 20% gratuity added onto each package. Also, remember that cabinmates must have the same package, so be sure to mull your decision over with your friends or significant other.

Recommendations:

  • To Buy or Not to Buy: Unless your calculations result in significant savings, versus paying for Purchased Beverages based upon consumption, we recommend that you bypass the Beverage Package options.
  • Which Package to Buy:  This choice is 100% determined by your Purchased Beverage preferences. The beverages available under each package are clearly presented online, so the choice is yours.
  • Our Hack:  If your calculations do not justify the purchase of a Premium, Classic or Beer Package, we do recommend the purchase of the Non-Alcoholic Drink Package. The amount of bottled water, coffees and sodas that most guests consume on a cruise quickly adds up. Purchasing the Non-Alcoholic Drink Package and paying for Purchased Beverages upon consumption works best for most guests.

This Cruise is Special…And Here is Why

When Top Shelf Country Cruise was conceived, everyone involved was committed to presenting something special, a cruise that was “top shelf” in every way. The leader of that pursuit was Bobby Bones. Having been courted on many occasions to host a cruise, Bobby chose this opportunity based primarily upon his belief that it would be first class in every way.

High end ship. Seasoned cruise producer. And, of course, great talent. From the start, we had our eyes on one performer, Keith Urban. Why? Because even amid all the Top Shelf star power in our lineup, Keith Urban stands out among the rest. He is one of the most successful country musicians of his generation. His songwriting is prolific, his talent is singularly unique and his stage presence is somehow as invitingly intimate as it is overpoweringly magnetic.

We are proud to have Keith Urban be the headliner of our cruise and excited to announce that Keith Urban took a moment in his amazing schedule to talk to us about the cruise. We know that you will enjoy every word of that discussion.

Also included in this, the 13th Edition of From the Top Shelf are:

  • Top Shelf Programming Highlight of the Week: Yoga with Amy Brown
  • FAQs of the Week: Where to eat on the ship…and may I smoke?
  • Inventory Report: What staterooms remain?
  • Fun Reservation Program: Rope a Friend…Both of You Win!

You Haven’t Missed the Boat…Yet!
Plus, Rope in a Friend and Earn Onboard Credits!

Staterooms in various categories are still available for the cruise. To learn more, go to www.topshelfcountrycruise.com.

For those who have already reserved a stateroom or for groups seeking reservations, we encourage use of our Rope A Friend Program. Top Shelf Country Cruise is a “team sport” …the more, the merrier. Form a group, rope in your friends, family and colleagues.

When you reserve staterooms as a group, you earn Onboard Credits which apply to any purchase or service available on the ship. You may apply the credits for Beverage Packages, Specialty Dining, Excursions and more. These credits work just like cash on the ship!

A Conversation with Our Headliner, Keith Urban: Following the Muse

In September of last year, Keith Urban released his twelfth solo studio album, High. It’s a towering achievement, considering his eponymous debut album came out back in 1991. He’s learned a lot about writing songs during that time, including the rewards and challenges of trying new things.

Reflecting on the development of High, Urban said, “For me, the freeing came about by just not having any structure, framework, theme, concept… Let’s just see what happens. Let’s get in the sandbox and start building stuff and see what happens.”

This relaxed approach came in direct contrast to how the project started: structural, built in a framework, thematic, and conceptual.

High began its life as a project tentatively titled 615, but, as Urban said, “I was trying to do something with 615. I was trying to keep myself with a particular framework… [and] I‘ve never done that before.” The approach quickly proved problematic.

“All of my albums are very — they gotta flow… The way we record them is very spontaneous; it’s very loose; it’s got spirit, and it’s got musical adventure. That record just didn’t have that.”

That didn’t mean all was lost, though — even if the songs themselves needed to point Urban in the right direction.

“This is kind of a crazy thing that happened on this album and the first time it’s ever happened,” he said, chuckling and stressing that he wasn’t crazy. “[T]he songs said to me, ‘We belong on another project, so take us with you… Now go write and record, and it’ll all make sense,’ and it was like I trusted the songs to tell me where to go.”

The 615 project was scrapped, and most of the remains — the songs that “spoke” to Urban — migrated over to High where they found new life in the free-flowing, spontaneous format he was used to. Urban has a particular phrase for that process.

“For me, the memories that stand out the most about making High was a feeling of ‘following the muse.’ Throwing myself back into the studio and writing rooms and just going with the flow, not analyzing or overthinking anything, but just getting into the flow and writing, creating, capturing, recording and I think all of that spirit made its way into the final version of High.”

“Following the muse.” It’s an abstract, symbolic concept, the kind that gives us non-musicians a glimpse into how a musical mind works. These kinds of metaphors are oftentimes the best an artist can do to explain their art and the process through which they make it. Sometimes they don’t fully understand it themselves, it seems.

Between that metaphor-making and the intangibility of a musician’s raw talent is where genius happens. It’s where mere ideas turn into the mechanics of singing and strumming and the process of recording and producing. It’s where the music comes from.

One thing is certain: Wherever Keith Urban’s muse takes him next, we’re eager to follow.

We’ll start with something you can enjoy right alongside Amy Brown.

Deckside Zen with Amy Brown

If you’ve never sat on the pool deck of a cruise ship, there’s nothing quite like it. The ocean stretches as far as you can see, the sound of the water creates a calming, rhythmic hum and a light breeze somehow feels more refreshing there than anywhere else in the world. It’s the perfect oasis for yoga.

So, join us on the pool deck, stretch, relax and take in some fresh air with a meditative yoga class. Amy Brown will be in attendance, doing all the essential poses right alongside you. Whether you’re a beginner or a certified yogi, this class is right for cruisers of any skill level.

Top Shelf FAQs

In addition to weekly programming highlights, we also want to address some frequently asked questions to prepare you for your time on Top Shelf Country Cruise. Knowledge is power, and whether you’re a veteran cruiser or you’re sailing for the first time, there’s no such thing as a “dumb question.”

Are reservations for dinner required?

The answer depends on the restaurant you choose.

Reservations are not required for Included Dining  (i.e., The Opus Restaurant and Oceanview Café). Both restaurants offer open seating that provides ample space for our guests.

Guests who choose to dine at one of the Specialty Restaurants are encouraged to make reservation through Celebrity’s “Cruise Planner” platform once you have your Celebrity Cruises’ Reservation Number (Booked Guests will receive this soon — keep an eye out!).

To learn more about the differences between Included Dining and Specialty Dining, be sure to check out editions #8 and #9 of From the Top Shelf.

Is smoking allowed on board the ship?

Smoking is allowed in Designated Smoking Areas ONLY. Smoking in any areas beyond the Designed Smoking Areas, including in staterooms and on balconies, is strictly prohibited.

A Top Shelf Interview with Lorianne Crook

You may have noticed that From the Top Shelf was conspicuously absent from your inbox last week. That’s because our team at Signature Cruise Experiences was out enjoying our annual mid-year break. We’re back to work now, though, recharged and ready to go!

And the weeklong break was worth the wait though because we have something very special for you: an exclusive Top Shelf Country Cruise interview with Lorianne Crook!

We spoke with her about the development of the country music genre over the years, her culinary prowess, her relationship with her longtime broadcast partner, Charlie Chase, and much more.

It’s an interview you’ll only find in From the Top Shelf.

Though Top Shelf Country Cruise does not sail for 217 days, the program is 70% reserved. With country music personalities like Lorianne Crook, Charlie Chase, Bobby Bones and his entire team on board, it is easy to understand why fans are booking staterooms for this weeklong luxury country music vacation.

Signature Cruise Experiences, the producer of the program, has produced over 100 cruise programs since 2001, and has earned the title of “The Gold Standard of Entertainment at Sea.” Doing it right is our mission. There is no other way!

  • Luxury Cruise Ship – Celebrity Reflection

Behind the Mic with Lorianne Crook

TSCC: You’ve had an incredibly long, successful career in radio. What are your thoughts on the development of the medium over the years, particularly with respect to the country genre?

LC: “Country music continues to reign as ‘America’s Music,’ the genre with the most radio stations. In recent years, digital platforms have impacted the ways that listeners engage, but there’s still nothing like a true local station with DJs you know and love presenting the music that becomes the soundtrack of your life and your memories.

“In my car, I never used a CD player. There’s something about rolling down the windows, riding around, and blasting your favorite station that can’t be replaced. A really great radio broadcaster adds insight, fun, and depth to the stories behind the songs and the artists, giving you a sense of belonging and community that we all need.”

TSCC: You’ve been broadcasting with Charlie Chase for over 40 years. What goes into maintaining a long-running dynamic partnership like that?

LC: “Great question – and a funny but true answer. The secret to the longevity and success of Crook & Chase is that Charlie and I don’t hang out together. We have lived completely separate lives, and sometimes don’t even talk on the phone for days. Because of that we haven’t gotten tired or bored of each other.

“When we come together behind microphones, in front of cameras, or to host events we each bring our own fresh perspectives. Our audiences experience the spontaneity along with us as we authentically laugh and tease and challenge each other.

“Charlie made an interesting comment about our relationship years ago. We have traveled across America together spending a lot of time side-by-side in “planes, trains, and automobiles.” As much fun as we have on-air, he said, “We’re such good friends, we are comfortable sharing silence.” It’s true! I am usually reading a book while he watches a movie or we quietly watch the scenery go by. So, even sitting beside each other we are living separate lives!

“But when the “on-air” lights flash, we naturally kick into a dynamic energy that we’ve never been able to explain, but is such a joy.”

TSCC: Cooking has been a big part of your career going all the way back to “Lorianne Crook’s Celebrity Kitchen.” You have a cooking demonstration slated for Top Shelf Country Cruise; are there any sneak peeks you can share with us ahead of the sailing?

LC: “Many of our country music stars are excellent home cooks. It’s such fun to be in the kitchen with them and to steal (I mean borrow!) their recipes.

Trisha Yearwood, Zac Brown, the Johnny Cash family, and even Naomi Judd and Tammy Wynette have shared their favorite recipes with me. I’ll pass along those details, and some of their best cooking secrets!”

TSCC: Finally, What has you most excited about sailing on Top Shelf Country Cruise?

LC: “I try to experience the best of everything whenever I can. I have been on a lot of cruises, but this is my first with Top Shelf. Reviews are spectacular for the friendly and professional service, the luxury accommodations, amazing dining experiences and beautiful views and ports of call.

“All of that, PLUS a line-up of our top hitmakers in country music! I can’t wait to enjoy the ‘best of the best cruising’ along with the best fans in the world.”

Cruising after dark: The Fun Stays Up When The Sun Goes Down

In recent editions of From the Top Shelf, we’ve served up plenty of tasty information – from a full overview of your Included and Specialty Dining options to an in-depth look at Beverage Packages and our Bobby Bones “Meet & Eat” raffle benefiting St. Jude. If you’ve been following along, you’re already getting a sense of just how much there is to look forward to aboard Top Shelf Country Cruise.

Much of what we’ve shared so far has focused on the programming and experiences available during the day and early evening — meals, meet-ups, artist activities and port stops. But let’s be clear: just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean the fun stops. On Top Shelf Country Cruise, evening is when things really start to heat up.

From concerts in The Theatre to poolside performances under the stars, the entertainment keeps coming long after dark. You’ll find DJ sets, parties and line dancing hosted by our official cruise band, Rodeo Disco, and even movie nights hosted by Charlie Chase. Whether you’re looking to dance, unwind or keep the party going, there’s no shortage of nighttime options on board.
There’s plenty to cover in this edition, so let’s dive right in and take a closer look at what makes Top Shelf Country Cruise shine after sunset.

Holiday Office Hours

Our annual 4th of July office holiday is coming up. Signature Cruise Experiences will be closed from Monday, June 30 through Friday, July 4. We will be back on Monday, July 7, ready to assist you in any way we can. If you need assistance during that time, you can always reach us by email at info@scecruises.com and our team will respond as promptly as possible.

Y’all Nighter

Signature Cruise Experiences’ programs are renowned for special late-night entertainment called “Cruising After Dark.” Starting around 10:30 PM, the entire ship will be alive with music, parties, dancing and much more.

Top Shelf Country Cruise is no exception. The only difference is that instead of “Cruising After Dark,” we’re calling our late-night country fun a “Y’all Nighter.” The nighttime programming is every bit as exciting as what happens during the day – maybe even more so. Ready to pull a Y’all Nighter with us?

Party with Rodeo Disco

When the stars come out, so do the boots. And nobody kicks up the dust like Rodeo Disco, our official Top Shelf party band. Straight out of Nashville, they bring the honky tonk energy with fiddles, steel guitar and a playlist packed with country hits.
Whether you’re a line-dancing pro or just finding your rhythm, their interactive shows will have you scootin’ in no time. Having shared stages with some of country music’s biggest stars, this band doesn’t just play the party – they are the party. Get ready to dance the night away.

movie nights with charlie chase

After a full day of music, meals and mingling, sometimes the perfect nightcap is a quiet seat, a classic film and good company. Join legendary broadcaster Charlie Chase for one of his can’t-miss movie nights onboard.
Charlie will introduce the film, share a few personal reflections and stick around to enjoy it right alongside you. It’s a laid-back way to wind down (because after a full day, your feet may need a rest!).

Late Night Concerts

For those still interested in music well after dinner, Top Shelf Country Cruise offers evening performances that bring energy to the Pool Deck and The Theatre. These are the shows you’ll want to linger for – intimate, electric and unmistakably Top Shelf.
Kassi Ashton has a style all her own. Her voice is gritty and grounded, her lyrics sharp and honest. Whether she’s tearing through the heartbreak of “Drive You Out of My Mind” or channeling strength through songs like “Made From The Dirt,” Kassi’s set is raw, riveting and rooted in real life. Expect a performance that’s bold, beautiful and completely unforgettable.

Also playing late into the night is Thelma & James, the Nashville duo made up of husband-and-wife singer-songwriters MacKenzie Porter and Jake Etheridge. Their show blends chemistry, harmony and just the right touch of nostalgia. With songs like “Happy Ever After You” and “Chainsmokin Memories,” they’ve quietly become one of the most buzzed-about acts in country – and you’ll understand why the moment they start to sing.
These aren’t your average cruise ship sets. They’re full concerts, made for nighttime skies and good sound systems. Just grab a seat, settle in and enjoy.

late night dj sets

For those who still have energy after a day of fun, our Nashville-based DJs will keep the beats going well into the night. Whether you’re looking to dance, mingle or just enjoy the vibe, these sets are the perfect way to close out your evening. Expect a mix of country, pop and party favorites, all served up with the perfect amount of Top Shelf flair.

Independence Day – Early Fireworks for YOU!

In our last edition of From the Top Shelf, we started a discussion about one of the iconic elements of a cruise…the food! We shared with you that dining on Top Shelf Country Cruise was divided among “Included Dining” and “Specialty Dining.” “Included Dining” pertains to the restaurants and experiences that are included in your Cruise Price and “Specialty Dining” includes opportunities to enjoy a variety of cuisines subject to an upcharge.

We then proceeded to explore and describe all the amazing Included Dining options and procedures. This edition will focus on the Specialty Dining choices. Again, whether you elect to Included or Specialty Dining, be assured that the food, service and dining venues of Celebrity Reflection are amazing.

It is likely that most guests will choose both Included and Specialty Dining experiences. That is our recommendation. But, before we “dig in” to more food talk, we want to give you something else to chew on.

The 4th of July holiday has always been a favorite of the staff of the Top Shelf Country Cruise ands Signature Cruise Experiences. Our custom is to take that week off to enjoy family, friends and fireworks! Our offices will be closed from Monday, June 30 through Friday, July 4 and will open again on Monday, July 7.

During that time, you can contact us by email info@scecruises.com and our staff will respond as fast as possible. For those who wish to reserve a stateroom for Top Shelf Country Cruise during that time, the online reservation procedures will be fully operating.

And, for Florida residents, or anyone wishing to use the service, our amazing “Coach & Sail” Program is up and running. Check it out below. For the hundreds of Florida guests with stateroom reservations already, you are automatically eligible.

Just as Top Shelf Country Cruise will be filled with fun and excitement, this edition of From The Top Shelf has a lot to “chew on.”

Qsine will undergo a similar transformation for Top Shelf Country Cruise, this time with a theme and menu tailored to fit Country Music’s First-Class Cruise Program. The details are still coming together, but right now we can confirm that this will be a dining experience you won’t want to miss. Stay tuned.

From the Top Shelf #8
What about the food? Quite a bit!

This is From the Top Shelf Edition #8 and we have not yet talked about food! Food may be the single most talked-about feature of a “regular” cruise. Granted, on the Top Shelf Country Cruise, your main focus will be on the amazing musical talent (Keith Urban, Lee Brice, Scotty McCreery, Parmalee, LeAnn Rimes & more) and the fun of rubbing elbows with Bobby Bones and his crew! We have talked about them in earlier editions.

But, today’s menu (literally) is food! There was a time when cruises were known for their food only in terms of quantity. A midnight buffet was part of the scenery of every episode of The Love Boat. Mounds and mounds of food became the prevailing image of cruising. While the unlimited nature of food available on a cruise ship remains, food on Celebrity Cruises is known for its quality, variety and award-winning presentations.

Celebrity Reflection offers both “Included Dining” and “Specialty Dining.” “Included Dining” consists of the restaurants and dining experiences that are part of your Cruise Price. “Specialty Dining” consists of dining options that feature unique, themed menus and venues available for an upcharge. The dining options are so vast that we will focus our discussion in this edition to “Included Dining” and present the “Specialty Dining” choices next week in From the Top Shelf Edition #9.

Do not let the large number of choices concern you. Whether you elect an “Included Dining” or a “Specialty Dining” option, the food on Celebrity Reflection is wonderful! Most guests find that mixing it up between the two types of dining is a perfect way to enjoy the cruise.

Okay, time to “dig in” to From the Top Shelf Edition #8!

Stateroom Update

Top Shelf Country Cruise is in Open Booking

At this time anyone may reserve any available stateroom on Top Shelf Country Cruise! Though some categories of staterooms are JOIN WAITLIST only, suites and a variety of staterooms with balconies (verandas) remain available. To reserve a stateroom, click the button below, select the stateroom of your choice and follow the prompts.

For those who have reserved a stateroom, stay tuned for upcoming messages and information, including our Round Up Program, where you earn extra options when your friends, colleagues and family join you on the cruise!

NOTE: For those who have been trying to reserve a stateroom during the last few days, we apologize if you were unable to access the staterooms of your choice. Our reservation system was down for repair.  We are back in operation!

Included Dining

Our ship, Celebrity Reflection, offers many different restaurants and dining experiences under the Included Dining program. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick, casual bite by the pool or a more refined, sit-down dinner with attentive service and multi-course meals, you’ll find plenty of variety to enjoy.

The Main Dining Room

An elegant, two-deck dining room, The Opus Restaurant offers amazing views of the seas on either side. It serves a full breakfast every morning and a great dinner every night. Lunch is also available on days at sea.

Breakfast includes options like Eggs Benedict, pancakes, waffles, and all the meats, bread products and pastries that accompany a full breakfast.

For lunch, you may choose from an array of healthy options as well as the daily pasta, specialty hamburgers and soups.

The entrées for dinner are different every night, but each menu includes fish, meat, chicken and vegetarian selections. If you prefer, there are entrées such as steak and salmon that are offered every night. Wonderful appetizers, salads, soups and a stunning array of desserts are also included.

The Main Dining Room (The Opus Restaurant) will offer “open seating” each evening between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, allowing you to dine at your leisure between the many shows and events available throughout the night. Simply arrive at the dining room with the party you wish to dine with, and you will be seated accordingly.

Oceanview Cafe

Located up on Deck 14 at the back (Aft) of the ship, Oceanview Café’s name gives away what it’s all about: stunning views of the ocean scenery on all sides and  a more diverse variety of food than you can imagine. It has an “international marketplace” feel, with food from around the world, all served buffet-style at your convenience.

The options are endless and the entrées and offerings mirror that of the Main Dining Room in many cases. The Oceanview Café is open nearly around-the-clock and serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner and late-night snacks. Pizza, pasta, sandwiches and sweets are available into the wee hours for those country fans looking to wind down after a rowdy evening of music and line dancing.

Mast Grill

The name says it all. In fact, you can almost smell the hamburgers, hot dogs, fries and other fixings that are part of the Mast Grill’s menu. As you might expect, those fun foods taste even better when you are on a ship!

Plus, there’s nothing quite like having a meal on the deck of a ship with the open ocean air all around you. Open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this is a great spot to sit, relax and recharge in the sun between all the onboard entertainment.

Spa Cafe

Also on Deck 14, the Spa Café is a great breakfast and lunch locale for guests who don’t want to let their vacation interrupt their healthy eating habits. You’ll find oatmeal, yogurt parfaits, salads, wraps and other light fare — the kind of stuff you’d expect to be part of Amy Brown’s diet. Fresh pressed juices and smoothies are also available for a small upcharge.

Four Included Dining options may not sound like much but trust us: these four locations alone are enough to keep you full and your palate very happy. There are plenty of additional spots throughout Celebrity Reflection to wine and dine. These include the ship’s Specialty Restaurants and we’ll apprise you of those in our next edition of From the Top Shelf.

From the Top Shelf #7

Our past editions of From the Top Shelf have focused mostly on Top Shelf Country Cruise’s performers, shows and drink packages. All very important topics (especially that last one). But this edition is a little different.

Both Bobby Bones and Signature Cruise Experiences have a long history of charitable activities and participation. Their shared passion for the work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was one of their mutual attractions. Creating a Top Shelf Country Cruise event that would support St. Jude was a natural next step.

Meet & Eat with Bobby Bones

To that end, we’re hosting a Top Shelf Country Cruise raffle. A $100 donation gets you a ticket, and every penny goes directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The prize? A private brunch with Bobby Bones himself during the cruise.

We don’t know exactly what’s going to be on the menu yet, but we can promise the conversation will be rich, the vibe relaxed and the company unforgettable.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

You may already know the name. You’ve probably seen the commercials. Maybe you’ve even been a donor. But let’s take just a moment to reflect on what St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital really is, and why its mission resonates so powerfully.

Founded in 1962 when childhood cancer was essentially a death sentence, St. Jude changed the game. Completely. It transformed despair into hope, pushing survival rates from 20% to over 80%. It did that by doing something truly radical: sharing. Every breakthrough, every new treatment, every piece of knowledge — they give it away. Freely. Around the country and around the world.

St. Jude treats kids from all 50 states and across the globe. And here’s the part that never fails to amaze us: Families never receive a bill from St. Jude. Not for treatment, not for travel, not for food or housing. Because the only thing a family should worry about is helping their child live.

That’s what we’re supporting. That’s who we’re partnering with.

A Mutual Friend

It’s no coincidence that St. Jude is dear to Bobby Bones’ heart. And it’s not a casual relationship, either. Over the years, Bobby and his listeners have raised more than $27 million for St. Jude. That number is staggering.

Bobby has never been shy about using his voice for good. He invites his fans to become “Partners in Hope.” And every year, thousands answer that call. That spirit of generosity is one of the many reasons we’re so proud to have Bobby as part of our cruise.

Top Shelf Country Cruise Beverage Offerings

Booked guests and prospective guests alike have been clamoring to learn about the various beverage packages that you can purchase for Top Shelf Country Cruise. Beer Packages, in particular, are of interest. After all, listening to live country music without a nice cold one in your hand is just not right!

When it comes to sipping in style on the Top Shelf Country Cruise, we believe your drink of choice should be just as “Top Shelf” as your cruise experience. Whether you’re toasting an unforgettable set from Keith Urban or just unwinding under the stars after a day in paradise, having the right drink in hand can be the cherry (or lime!) on top of a perfect cruise day.

That’s why we’ve curated four distinct beverage packages  —each designed to match your pace, your palate, your pocketbook and your party style.

(Note: You don’t have to purchase a beverage package to enjoy drinks on Top Shelf Country Cruise; you can always purchase drinks separately. Beverage packages simply provide convenience and value.)

BEVERAGE PACKAGES

The above prices for beverage packages may be subject to discounts just for Top Shelf Country Cruise guests. If that’s the case, we’ll share those discounted prices with you as soon as we’re able to!

premium beverage package

If you’re the kind of person who hears “all-in” and actually leans in, this one’s for you. Think of this package as your backstage VIP lanyard to the liquid good life: full access to beer, wine, spirits, bottled water and specialty coffees — anything and everything up to $17 per beverage.

It’s not just about quantity (though there’s plenty of that). It’s about quality. You’ll even get a generous 20% off any bottle of wine you fall in love with and want to take home… or to dinner… or back to the stateroom to toast under the stars.

If your vacation motto is “go big or stay on land,” this is your ticket.

classic beverage package

If the Premium Beverage Package is the front row at the stadium, then the Classic Beverage Package is a good seat in the first ten rows. You’ll still be drinking just fine — unlimited selections of wines by the glass, frosty beers, perfectly blended cocktails and yes, even that iced caramel macchiato you can’t live without. Almost every drink up to $10 is covered here.

the beer package

This one’s near and dear to our hearts because it’s made just for us. Celebrity Cruises didn’t have a package like this before Top Shelf Country Cruise came to town. It’s been meticulously crafted with you in mind.

You get your pick of brews — Budweiser, Coors Light, Corona, Heineken, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Blue Moon, Sam Adams and more — all covered up to $12 a bottle or draft.

Heads up: This package is just includes beer. No water, no soda, no espresso martinis (though you can still buy these separately). Just the cold ones you know and love. You can’t even find it on Celebrity’s website. It’s a Top Shelf secret.

the non-alcoholic drink package

For those cruising clean, you haven’t been forgotten. Whether you’re staying dry, pacing yourself or just prefer a smoothie over a spiked seltzer, this package is your best friend.

Specialty coffees, sodas, bottled water, fruit smoothies — all unlimited. Sometimes, the best buzz is just knowing you’re hydrated, caffeinated and fully present.

when are drink packages available to purchase?

For now, drink package information is just that: informational. Drink packages are typically not available for purchase until about 6 months before the cruise sets sail.

With that in mind, every Signature Cruise Experiences sailing includes a “Get Ready” series of emails designed to prepare guests for their cruise and Top Shelf Country Cruise is no exception. From travel and passport information to food and drink packages, we’ll provide all the information you need to help you plan for a fun, stress-free vacation.

Be sure to keep an eye on your inbox in the coming months.

bars

Now, when it comes to where you can acquire and enjoy your beverage of choice, our ship, Celebrity Reflection, contains plenty of bars and lounges throughout. You can read about each of them below (or bookmark the information about them on this page of our website).

pool and mast bars

If you’re wearing flip flops, sun-kissed and thirsty, these are your watering holes. Simple, spirited and always close to the action, the Pool & Mast Bars on decks 14 and 15 are your no-frills, full-flavor spot for an outdoor drink.

sunset bar

If you believe the best way to toast the day is with the sea behind you and a drink in your hand, then the Sunset Bar is your cathedral. It’s tucked in the back of the ship, where the breeze is steady, the sky is endless and the vibe is just right.

passport bar

Right off the ship’s grand foyer, the Passport Bar is like that perfect roadside bar you didn’t plan to stop at, but end up loving. Whether it’s country tunes in the background or a cold drink in your hand, this is the “I’ll just rest my boots for a minute” kind of place that becomes your nightly tradition.

cellar masters

For those who like their stories told between swigs and their nights aged to perfection, Cellar Masters is where you’ll want to be. It’s a laid-back treasure trove of global wines, where the bottle you’ve never heard of might just become your new favorite.

world class bar

You know how some folks like their bourbon neat and their cocktails crafted with surgical precision? That’s the World Class Bar. From fresh ingredients to mixologists who treat their job like an art form, this bar lives up to its name. Every sip feels like a private tasting.

Sky Lounge

With panoramic ocean views by day and a dance floor that comes alive at night, the Sky Lounge is equal parts tranquility and twang. Think of it as what happens when Nashville meets Vegas and says, “Let’s party.”

The Ensemble Lounge

If you’ve ever dreamed of sipping something smooth while brushing shoulders with a crowd that looks like they’re headed to the Grand Ole Opry, this is your spot. The Ensemble Lounge is tailor-made for a pre-dinner bourbon or a post-show nightcap, all set to live music and a vibe that says, “we clean up real nice.”

Martini Bar and Crus

This place is a showstopper. The bartenders don’t just make drinks — they perform them. Perched on an ice-topped bar and backed by a wall of vodka that would make Moscow blush, this is where your night kicks into gear, shaken or stirred.

From the Top Shelf #5

Welcome to the fifth edition of From the Top Shelf, your insider look at everything coming up aboard the Top Shelf Country Cruise.

In previous editions, we’ve shared the cruise itinerary, lineup updates, stateroom availability and, of course, details about our headliner, Keith Urban, and his performance at the beautiful Nassau Cruise Port Amphitheater.

Today, we’re turning the spotlight to something that sets this cruise apart from every other vacation at sea: the rare and remarkable chance to spend meaningful time with the full iHeartRadio talent team of Bobby Bones, Amy Brown, Lunchbox, Eddie, Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase.

Whether you’re walking the deck with Amy, swapping jokes with Lunchbox at a blackjack table, hearing celebrity stories straight from Lorianne and Charlie or comedy straight from Bobby and Eddie, Top Shelf Country Cruise gives you something few fans ever get: a genuine, up-close experience with your favorite personalities.

Interested in learning more?

From the Top Shelf #5 is ready for reading.

The Raging Idiots Bring the Laughs

When Bobby Bones and Producer Eddie take the stage, you’re not just watching a Raging Idiots concert—you’re stepping into a full-blown comedy party where every song is packed with sharp wit and infectious energy.

Born from inside jokes and humble beginnings, Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots have evolved from a fake opening act and a one-off charity gig into a touring phenomenon beloved by fans coast to coast. Their hilarious blend of clever lyrics and surprisingly catchy tunes has sold out venues, raised over $2 million for charity and united thousands of fans in laughter. And now, they’re bringing that magic straight to the middle of the ocean on Top Shelf Country Cruise.

Behind the Mic: Bobby Bones Show Q&A

Every morning, millions of country music fans start their day with the #1 nationally syndicated country morning show: The Bobby Bones Show. But on Top Shelf Country Cruise, it won’t just be another broadcast. It’ll be your backstage pass to the radio show that redefined country radio.

In this exclusive, live Q&A session, you’ll go behind the scenes with the entire cast of the show as they share the stories behind the biggest moments on the airwaves. From their craziest celebrity interviews to the real-life inspiration behind the gags, pranks and pop culture commentary, they’re pulling back the curtain just for you.

This is a rare chance to ask your own questions, hear the unfiltered stories they can’t say on-air and connect with the voices you’ve welcomed into your home, your car and your earbuds day after day.

Don’t just tune in. Be there.

Spend Some Time with Amy Brown

Whether you’ve laughed with her during morning radio, found strength in her vulnerability or been inspired by her commitment to kindness, you already know that Amy Brown brings more than just personality. She brings presence. And during Top Shelf Country Cruise, you’ll have the chance to connect with her in moments that feel like they were made just for you.

Here’s how you can spend real time with Amy during the cruise:

  • Start your day with a Morning Walk with Amy on the pool deck. Think of it as a moving meet-and-greet: casual, welcoming and filled with conversation that will leave you smiling long after breakfast.
  • Center yourself with Amy during an open-air Yoga Session, surrounded by sea breezes and positive energy. You don’t need to be a yogi to join—just someone who wants to breathe a little deeper and move a little more freely.
  • Kick up your boots with Amy at Line Dancing Lessons, where Rodeo Disco will teach the steps and Amy will be learning them right alongside you. It’s not about getting it perfect—it’s about having fun while you learn.
  • Listen to Amy’s Healthy Lifestyle Talk where she’ll share insights into physical, emotional and spiritual wellness. Her message is one of real, honest encouragement built on her own growth, struggle and resilience.

You can listen to Amy on the radio any day of the week. But Top Shelf Country Cruise gives you a chance to walk with her, move with her and laugh with her in ways you’ll never forget.

Blackjack Showdown with Lunchbox

It wouldn’t be The Bobby Bones Show without Lunchbox stirring up some fun. And on Top Shelf Country Cruise, he’s bringing his competitive spirit to the blackjack table. Over three rounds, guests will play head-to-head for a shot at the final table where Lunchbox himself will join in.

It’s high energy, high stakes and guaranteed high-volume laughs. Whether you’re a seasoned card shark or just here for the chaos, this is your chance to say you beat (or got beat by) one of radio’s biggest personalities. Win or lose, the story alone is worth the price of admission. (There’s a fee to enter, but don’t worry — you won’t lose your shirt.)

Spend Some Time with Crook & Chase

Toast and Tell

The iconic broadcast duo have had thousands of conversations with hundreds of country music’s biggest stars over the years. Toast & Tell is your chance to learn more about those conversations and those artists.

Pour a drink, sit with Crook and Chase, name your favorite country music star, and they’ll share some unbelievable behind-the-scenes tales.

From laugh-out-loud moments to incredible backstage memories, this event is a front-row seat to decades of country music history told by two legends who have seen it all. Come for the drinks and stay for the stories you’ll be telling long after the cruise sails home.

Top Shelf Star: Your Moment in the Spotlight

There’s a stage. There’s a live band. And there’s you—belting out your favorite country anthem to your fellow cruisers, backed by our cruise’s official party band, Rodeo Disco.

This is Top Shelf Star, Top Shelf Country Cruise’s signature live karaoke showdown.

This multi-round singing competition gives guests the chance to live like country stars. Start with a song and a dream, and you might just find yourself in the finals, performing for a panel of judges and a crowd of new fans cheering you on.

Even if it’s your first time holding a mic, Top Shelf Star is your invitation to step out of your comfort zone and into the moment. Because when you’re sailing with artists, DJs and fans who live and breathe country music, why not become part of the show?

Book Your Stateroom

As you can see, there’s a world of fun to be had on Top Shelf Country Cruise. And this is just the beginning—there’s plenty more to come.

If you’ve already reserved your stateroom, we can’t wait to welcome you aboard. If not, staterooms are filling up quickly—and with programming like this, it’s easy to see why.

Don’t wait to claim your place on Country Music’s Top Shelf Cruise Program.

From the Top Shelf #4

Welcome to the Edition #4 of From the Top Shelf, your source for all things related to Country Music’s First-Class Cruise. If you missed any of the first three editions, or wish to read them again, you can find them on the Top Shelf Country Cruise website.

For the next few editions, we will share programming highlights for the cruise. This is the fun part!  While there will be dozens of hours of music programming, live events and programming for you to enjoy on Top Shelf Country Cruise, the main attraction is, without a doubt, this edition of From The Top Shelf will focus on county music icon Keith Urban’s performance.

Top Shelf Country Cruise Presents: Keith Urban

When Signature Cruise Experiences began working with iHeart Media to create the best country music cruise in the world, securing the performance of a country music icon was our first objective. Keith Urban was our #1 choice and we are thrilled that he and his team are joining us in Nassau.

Our second objective is to make that show an amazing experience for each and every guest. Enter Nassau and its brand new $300M venue and port facility. As you can see from the photo below, we will be able to dock our ship immediately adjacent to the new amphitheater, which is located within the port facility. It is about a 10 minute walk from the ship’s gangway to the venue and, by the time the venue opens for our guests, our ship will be the only ship in port.

Though the venue is called an “amphitheater,” it provides an intimate experience that can accommodate up to 3,000 people, a number slightly more than the guest population of our ship. This beautiful lawn setting provides unobstructed views of the stage and the event. Every sight angle is great. Everyone is close to the stage.

Since the Keith Urban show is exclusively for our guests on the ship, there will be ample room for everyone to move about and to enjoy the show.

Signature Cruise Experiences is known throughout the industry as master producers of live entertainment. While most of our productions have been on cruise ships, we have a long history of land-based productions, both indoors and outdoors.

Brian Rachko, our Production Manager, has 25 years of experience in the industry including huge touring shows, Disney Productions and more. Sound is his specialty, his passion and his domain. Brian and his team are working now to make sure that all the production elements that are part of a typical Keith Urban show will be included and presented.

Preliminarily, we are scheduling the show to start at 9 PM with the venue opening for seating at 7:30 PM. The Show Guidelines will be the subject of a later edition. Arrangements for those who need assistance with both arriving at the venue and seating will be announced as well.

Prior to the concert, there will be a Top Shelf Pre-Party onboard with live entertainment, food and drink. The showtime should allow for time to enjoy a great dinner on the ship in a variety of locations and formats. No one will go hungry. Food and drink may also be purchased in and around the performance venue.

Once the show concludes, guests will be treated on the ship to the Top Shelf Post-Show Celebration. With a Day at Sea following this night, there should be no curfew in force. Plus, by 1 AM, the ship will be sailing away from Nassau in the moonlight. If you have never been on a sail away, be prepared to be in awe.

In short, it’s going to be a once-in-a-lifetime day, afternoon, show and night.

At the heart of this cruise is the iHeartMedia talent team of Bobby Bones, Lorianne & CharlieAmy Brown, Lunchbox and Eddie. They have made this cruise their own and will be there to greet you, sail with you and help you enjoy the programming. For several years now, Bobby Bones has been encouraged to host a cruise, but he was waiting for the right time, the right cruise partner and the right program.

Bobby Bones has selected Top Shelf Country Cruise to be HIS cruise program.

Additional Performers

Our complete lineup of Performers will be announced very soon. This information will be provided directly to you as soon as we have confirmed the lineup.

The Experience

What sets Top Shelf Country Cruise apart from other country music cruises? That’s easy: the pedigree of its talent and the diversity of its programming.

With Keith Urban and the iHeartMedia talent team confirmed and more first-rate acts to be announced very soon, this cruise program is committed to providing nothing short of the best, most in-demand musicians and personalities the country genre has to offer.

Alongside top-tier performers comes top-tier programming. Signature Cruise Experiences has been producing full-ship charter cruises for over 25 years and is unrivaled in creating a simply unforgettable week of entertainment — and the Celebrity Reflection cruise ship is the perfect vessel for a wide spectrum of musical experiences that offer something for everyone.

The Theatre is a multi-tiered venue perfect for nightly headlining acts that are sure to be the highlight of each day. The Sky Lounge is a great party spot for gameshows, dancing, karaoke and late-night entertainment.

The Pool Deck is tailor-made for festival-style outdoor shows, all set in a warm, breezy environment. The Opus Restaurant, our main dining room, transforms into a unique concert space for matinees and evening performances. Finally, the Ensemble Lounge serves as an elegant and intimate venue that invites you right into the performers’ worlds.

Add in delicious included and specialty dining options, a selection of drink packages, coffee bars, spa treatments and more amenities, and you’ll find that you’re in for a “Top Shelf” cruise experience you won’t soon forget.

The Value

There’s no getting around it: Seeing your favorite performers is expensive. Between plane tickets, hotel accommodations, show tickets, food and beverage costs and more, a trip to a country musical festival is pricey.

A country music cruise, though, offers unbeatable value for your money.

Top Shelf Country Cruise provides a nightly headlining performance and several additional shows at the ship’s other venues each day. The week will be packed with dozens and dozens of hours of musical entertainment. Your cruise price also includes:

  • Breakfast and dinner every day in the Opus Restaurant and lunch on Days at Sea
  • All-day buffet-style dining in the Oceanview Café
  • Unlimited use of the ship’s state-of-the-art gym
  • Full days at exotic ports of call
  • Use of the ship’s sports court and walking track
  • A pool deck for swimming and sunbathing
  • Comfortable and relaxing stateroom accommodations

You’ll enjoy all of these amenities among fellow fans and even the artists themselves for as low as $500 per person per day. For lovers of country music, travel, adventure and a good party, there’s simply no better value.
